The Senior Manager, ServiceNow Opportunity

As Senior Manager for ServiceNow, you'll be the driving force behind the ServiceNow platform, which empowers teams across Business Technology, Security, and HR. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Support, you'll lead a dynamic team spanning the US and India, delivering impactful solutions that elevate the employee experience and fuel organizational success.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement a ServiceNow roadmap that aligns with IT and business strategies, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to align ServiceNow strategy with overall BT organizational objectives.
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful on-time delivery of projects.
- Manage demand intake for the team: planning, forecasting, and managing team tasks and projects using Agile methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners across Okta who depend on the ServiceNow platform for current and future capabilities.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of ServiceNow developers.
- Understanding of business processes and how ServiceNow can be leveraged to optimize operations and achieve business goals.
- Lead a globally distributed team that supports a 24x7 operations model.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 8+ years of proven experience as an IT manager leading a development team with a track record of continued growth and responsibilities.
- ServiceNow platform experience – including a strong working understanding of the ITSM, HR, and Security modules
- Prior experience in implementing and augmenting the ServiceNow platform in the areas of ITSM and HR Service Management/Employee Center.
- Should have implemented CMDB, Hardware Asset Management, and Software Asset Management solutions in ServiceNow.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and Spokes.
- Championed and implemented Incident, Change, and Problem Management across the enterprise and delivered targeted KPIs/dashboards/reports to stakeholders.
- Leadership experience in leading, managing, or mentoring development teams.
- Experience in: ServiceNow integrations, scripting languages, reporting and analytics, Agile development methodologies, performance tuning and optimization, and security and compliance.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $195,000—$293,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Full-Time Okta employee!
