1-minute Dollar Tree Bow Tutorial 🎀
Here’s an easy bow tutorial! Save this pin for this season’s crafts! 🍂 The length of my loops was about 4in, although measuring isn’t super crucial as you can copy this technique with different lengths of ribbon. You can also add less or more loops depending on your preference. Just try to keep the loops roughly the same size to have a more uniform result. Keep the ribbon pinched with your fingers, as demonstrated in video, to form your loops. Secure the ribbon with a chenille pipe cleaner or zip tie. Cut your tails (optional) by folding and cutting at an angle, as shown in video. Straighten and fluff everything out to your liking and you’re done! Hope you enjoy! 🤗
Memorial Piece in a weighted container from Florist Wreath Supply!!! #MemorialDay #floristwreathsupply #diyfloraldesign #diy | By On A Whimm Wreaths and Decor by Dona | Let's create a sympathy piece in this weighted cemetery container that I got from Florist Resupply. I will drop the link into the comments of where you can purchase all of these products. Everything I'm using today came from Florist Resupply. We're using some really pretty purple lilies, daylilies, a really pretty purple filler flower, a beaded greenery, and a little bit of the light green IV. So, I don't typically use dry foam when it's something that's going to be placed outside but it's all I had and I will tell you that at the end of this project, there was so much glue on top of that foam. I am not even worried one single bit that is outside. Um you couldn't even see a piece of the foam just due to everything that I'm going to put in it. So, again, not ideal but I think it's going to be totally fine. So, I've never seen a weighted container like this until Florist Resupply sent this to me and it's really neat and it and it's got a really nice, a nice size opening so you can make a really large arrangement in it and so, you know how it is when you Memorial Day is coming and a lot of people will go and add things to the grave site for their loved ones and so, this is a really neat container because it does allow you to make something kind of large and so, as you set it next to your loved one. Um it's going to be very noticeable, very pretty, very seen, and at the end I add a really really big yellow bow. And I feel like that really helps make it stand out too. So super super fun. Now we're adding in our grass. Our beaded grass here. Um I think some people call it a seeded grass. Um it can I just call it one of my favorite greeneries. Um this is just allowing that wispy in there and it kind of goes right along with the leaf that is with our lilies very drapey. It's got a very similar shape. It's just a different texture and it's smaller. So I think it's perfect for this container. So I've added that all the way around and just making sure that it's balanced front to back, side to side. And now, I'm going to take some more of that filler flower. Just going to cut the rest of that up and add that in all along the bottom and in the middle. Just making sure that I have that spread out all the way around. So, for this project, each thing that you're seeing here, I used one bush of each thing. One bush of the seeded grass, one bush of the daylies, one bush of the really pretty purple filler flowers and then, in a minute, when I add in the ivy, I literally only use I think three like three pieces, three or four pieces off of an ivy bush. So, on the ivy, you definitely have some leftover for another project. So, I'm just getting this ready. I cut a few leaves off of the stem so that I could get it down in the center and now I'm going to add some next to it side to side and I will spin this around so you could see The cool thing about ivy you guys is it trails up and down and sideways and all the places and I think it's a wonderful wonderful accent to pretty much any kind of an arrangement, a wreath, a swag, anything. I just think it's super versatile and it can really take your project up a notch. So now let's add another one right there on the top going the other direction. Gonna take off that sticker there. So let's create a bow here in a second and I was going to do a two and a half inch. And then I got to thinking no let's go with one and a half inch. This is a one and a half inch faux embossed ribbon that I got. This is the only thing not from Florist Resupply. I got this at Shop Like Donna. com and it is from Deco Exchange. So I added several loops and several tails because I wanted it to be very noticeable. I love the color because again it is something that you are going to be placing outside and if you want it to be noticeable it's going to need to be bright and large I think these purple flowers and greenery and just that light ivy is just so pretty together you could also use this container for other things if you wanted something you know some really pretty arrangements let's just say you were having a party maybe and you were going to you wanted to line your sidewalk or maybe up your stairs you could totally use these they are weighted and then you could stake them into the ground I think that would be so pretty lots and lots of different different ways you could use this container other than just for sympathy. So, I'm adding a little bit of ivy right there around the bow. Wanna make sure we have that all incorporated in there. And this went really fast. Absolutely love it. So One thing about the bow, I will say the loops are kind of large and I got to thinking as I'm playing with it right here, I'm like this bow maybe too big but then after you pull it back, I think it's actually perfect because when you think about where it's going to be sitting, I think it's going to be quite lovely. So, here's the stakes that it comes with
