I started by sanding with 80 grit. When the old finish was completely gone I realized this wood was definitely going to need a paint wash to neutralize the many colors the wood was showing. I used our color Raw wash( you can find it on our website Woodandhomeaccents.com )thinking I was going to do a stain on top of it, but I was in love with what Raw Wash did to the wood so I stoped right there. I used my favorite top coat by Behr (matte polyurethane). And now this table is giving 100% more rustic vibes than before !!
