Julia • Flying Dutchman Furniture • Furniture Flip Tips & DIY on Instagram: "Why I’m obsessed with removing vintage finishes using acetone and a scrub brush ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🫧 It saves serious time: No more 3-step stripping processes, arm-aching scraping, or endless hours of sanding away layers of old finish. Acetone cuts through vintage finish like a dream, letting you move on to the fun stuff faster! ✨ Reaches every nook and cranny: Unlike sanding, a scrub brush can get into all those intricate details, leaving nothing behind. Perfect for those gorgeous, carved pieces. 🌟 Less mess, more magic: Say goodbye to dust clouds! Acetone lifts the finish off the surface, making cleanup a breeze. Just put a cardboard box or drop cloth under your piece to catch any drips, but it also evaporates away p

Jennifer Beck on Instagram: "Here's the thing⤵️ You can't just refinish furniture and expect it to sell itself. One of the greatest skillsets I brought into my business was my background in sales. You have to know how to target your market, where to list, how to list, how to ship, how to do your taxes, how to protect yourself, how to develop customer relationships, how to source, etc. Those are all strategic methods that can make or break your business. All of these topics and many more are covered in the Furniture Flipping Business Academy. Comment ✨️ LINK ✨️ for a list of products and the academy sent straight to your inbox! These do include affiliate links of items that I actually use and love. I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't❤️ . . . #furniture #furnituredesign #homeinspo #home
