It’s not only making your sedum getting bushier but also extending more time for you to enjoy them in your garden. Here are a few steps: 1) I snip some stems “randomly”. I tend to cut the tallest and thickest stems first. And leave shorter stems as is. 2) Then make sure the plant has a balanced mix of original and snipped stems. I snipped 50% of the stems off. The stems that did not get cut will bloom first and bigger. The ones that got cut will create side shoots that are smaller (and bloom a little later) 3) The plants will look neat and clean.
