Living Room

2014 was our year to do our living room. We had a piano, an antique Jackson Press, 2 tables, a leather recliner and a couch to work with. Bought a rug, recovered the couch, built a gynormous canvas and covered it with vintage Memphis newspaper, built a coffee table, repurposed old fencing, and incorporated new and existing decor galore. We are so pleased with how it all came together.

Study / library with Joe's desk. In front of Bays My interior designer has advised that we should paint the built in bookcases the same color as the walls. I envision our room looking somewhat like this--at least as far as the color and walls go. We have wood floors and an area rug that is more colorful than this carpet/rug.

This is the finished product of our living room. Willow branches used to give a finished look to the photo gallery. 2 dozen white roses dried upside down for a week then added using wrapped floral wire and tacked into placed with staple gun onto fencing boards. Many ideas from Pinterest were used from this board!
