Kitchen living spaces like this are generally the most used areas of our homes. They are the backdrop to our lives, from breakfast to dinner, 🎄Christmas to summer parties🍹. They should be beautiful as well as practical, you can have both, with no compromises required!! This client chose a combination of natural Calacatta Apuana honed marble and Misty Carrara quartz to create surfaces that would be durable enough for everyday use, but have impact and individuality.

Rowan House in Glasgow (circa 1830), has recently had a multimillion pound interior and exterior renovation, which we were very honoured to be a part of. Now home to @laingsjewellers flagship showroom, it now looks fit for another couple of hundred years! Supplying stone for historic projects like this gives us a huge sense of pride whilst allowing us to showcase our timeless natural materials on incredible landmark buildings.

This ‘Four Seasons’ marble is quarried in Cambodia and is a great / more affordable alternative to some similar french stones. It features pink tones with touches of purple, grey and green. The stone’s brecciated pattern creates bursts of colour and expressive movements, like an abstract landscape. Making it an ideal choice for a statement installation. Calacatta Portugal is a Portuguese Marble, obviously! 😂 With beautiful creams, beige, greys, even areas of peachy tones.🍑 Part of the Calacatta family this stone is almost forgotten in Portugal, however the best blocks, like this, are almost identical to those quarried in Italy. We decided to stock them because we love the warm creaminess of the slabs, they feel perfect for a modern interior scheme.

This is the height of kitchen luxury, and we are in awe. Our Roma Blue quartzite is the perfect choice. The dark brown and gold veins are like toffee or treacle running through the stones cloudy blue surface, complimenting the beautiful dark cabinetry, brass splash-back, handles and lighting. The islands clean but carefully considered aesthetic allows the material to sing as the natural patterns run seamlessly over and around this sculptural piece.
