12M views · 975K reactions | Fresh tomato sauce 🍝 This is how my Sicilian grandmother taught me to make tomato sauce—no machines, and in no time at all. Nothing compares to the taste of homemade tomato sauce, especially when it's poured over a generous portion of pasta or spread on a pizza Ingredients: 1 kg tomatoes 2 tbsp olive oil 1 small onion About 1 tsp salt Basil leaves to taste Instructions: 1. Soak the tomatoes in a bowl or pot with hot boiling water for about 5 minutes to loosen the skins. 2. After soaking, peel the skins off the tomatoes. 3. Chop the peeled tomatoes into piece. 4. In a pan, heat a few tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and sauté finely chopped onions until they become soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. 5. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan with the onions, stirring to combine. Season with a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. 6. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes break down and the sauce thickens to your liking. 7. If you prefer a smoother sauce, use a hand immersion blender to blend the pieces of transfer the mixture to a blender. 8. Once blended, add a few chopped up basil leaves and your quick tomato sauce is ready to be served immediately or stored for later use. 🏷️ #tomatosauce #italianrecipes #easyrecipes #quickrecipes #sauce | Giulia Ardizzone | Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners · Evergreen (feat. 4.4M views · 121K reactions | You gotta try this! | You gotta try this!! | By Corey B | Is an Italian dish that you're not going to find served in a restaurant. It's only going to be served in someone's home with some of the best things I've ever tasted. What in the mama? Are those garbanzo beans? What in the Sicilian secret is going on here? That looks so good. Let's try. That is crazy good. It is so simple. And I hope you try it. Okay. She said this is the most amazing Italian meal that you've never had. I find that to be impostable. Put some oil in your pan. Olive oil. Now she said to add two cloves of garlic. I'm using five because I am not a vampire and I like garlic. Now add half of a onion. Whatever onion you want to use. I'm using red onions because they're better for you. Do you know red onions can help prevent cancer and heart disease? I'm using red onions. Use whatever onions you want to use. Don't. This is your life. Live it. Now add one sprig of rosemary. I had to steal this from my neighbor's garden. Okay don't forget to add some salt. If you forget the salts that's your fault. Alright? I'm using real salt. Ooh. Ooh. That's aromatic. That is aromatic. Now get you some garbanzo beans. Drain your bean. The same way my kid drains my bank account. You want to make sure you rinse your beans too. This don't spill your beans. Once your vegetables are nice and soft, add your beans. Okay, now add some chicken broth enough to cover it, okay? I will say this does smell it smells amazing. It smells aromatic. Now, let this simmer for 15 minutes. Why are you yelling? Because I want to. Because I want to. Alright, after 15 minutes, take out your rosemary. Hey, what did grandma say when the kid asked what she was making? None of your business. None of your Now transfer everything into a blender. Or you can use a hand mixer. Whatever you want to use. Put it in a blender. Now pour everything back in your pan at medium heat. Please add the cheese, okay? Parmesan. We're going a dang handful. Look at that. Add A handful and a half. Cuz I know what I'm doing. I know what I'm doing. Once the cheese is melted, add in your cooked pasta. Whatever pasta you want to use. I'm using titalini. Make sure you put a little pasta water in there with it, okay? That thickens it up. Look at that. You see that? Okay. Alright. Alright, go ahead and plate it, alright? Am I going to love it or hate it? We're about to find out. That's nice though. That looks nice. Come in with a little extra topping of cheese. Olive oil. Just a little dash. Just a little finish it off, okay? Like like like combat. This is the finishing move. That's it right there. Just a little drizzle of olive oil and I'm adding a little bit oregano on top. Just a little bit of oregano. Special pasta you can't find in a restaurant. I don't even know the name of it. One, two, San Coachello. The Mamma Mia. This is everything she said it was going to be. It is amazing. This is
