Giada's Apple Cider Sangria
Sangria is such a great drink to make when you're hosting people: you make a big batch so you don't have to assemble cocktails on the fly, you have to make it in advance, and it's a wonderful way to put a spotlight on seasonal produce to make any gathering feel festive. This apple cider sangria is the perfect example; with apple cider, fresh apples and oranges and raspberries and a few cinnamon sticks, it's just about as autumnal as a drink can get.

Gingerbread Coffee Cocktail
Iced coffee meets gingerbread in this delightfully festive cocktail! Prep it ahead of time by whipping up the gingerbread-spiced simple syrup early - you can store it in the fridge for up to a month. This recipe makes extra syrup, which you can use to make another batch of the cocktail… or you can keep it on hand to make delicious flavored coffees and teas!

Yes, You Can Have Classic Italian Cocktails Without the Booze
Nonalcoholic versions of our favorite cocktails are not only possible, they’re just as good as the real thing. It’s no secret we love the Italian tradition of aperitivo, the happy hour-style period before dinner when friends gather over a refreshing cocktail and a few salty snacks to kick off the evening.
Italian Old Fashioned
My version includes my favorite North Italian Amarena cherries, and I use that luxurious cherry syrup instead of sugar and water. It gives the drink such a great rich sweetness, and of course, you need a few of the whole cherries on a skewer to complete the drink. Cin cin!

Seltz Al Limone (Salted Lemon Seltzer)
This drink, which translates to “lemon seltzer,” is a beloved hot-day refresher in Sicily. It’s about as simple as can be: a blend of fresh lemon juice, salt, and sparkling water.
Bellinis
These bellinis are a fantastic summery way to kick off Italian aperitivo hour in style. Everyone is familiar with the famous Aperol Spritz, but this luscious peach cocktail has an extra touch of sophistication to it. You can’t go wrong showing up to an event with a pitcher of this homemade peach puree and prosecco in hand!
Milano-Torino Cocktail
Before the Negroni, and even before the Aperol spritz, there was the Milano Torino. Named after the location each of the ingredients comes from - Campari from Milan, and sweet Vermouth from Turin - this simple cocktail is said to have originated in Milan’s Caffe Camparino in the 1860s. It's a strong cocktail, but well balanced between sweet and bitter - perfect to enjoy before a meal!

Aperol Punch
A big batch of anything with Aperol, especially in summer, and we are there for it. The light bitter notes of the grapefruit seltzer only bring out the brightness of the Aperol. In Italy, the Aperol Spritz is the most ubiquitous aperitivo - aka, a pre-dinner cocktail! Making it in a larger batch is perfect for serving up to company. Note: this recipe fits perfectly in a standard pitcher. If you are filling a punch bowl, feel free to double or even triple the recipe! Credit: Lizzy Newman
Espresso Martini Affogato
Espresso martinis are all the rage right now, and we couldn't think of a better way to give it more of an Italian flair than combining it with an affogato. You can experiment with different flavors of gelato to customize this delicious dessert cocktail!
Italian Old Fashioned
The Old Fashioned is one of the most classic bourbon cocktails in existence - and one of the most classic cocktails, period! This is my Italian spin on the drink. It usually consists of bourbon, bitters, and a bit of simple syrup with an orange peel.
