There was quiet appreciation of the Strip of 1956-68. The "Good Guys" called my mom back from KC to gather good cocktail waitresses to open Caesars. She is 10th from the right in a pic of uniformed Ladies in front of the fountains. Wind blew across the fountains opening night with headlines the next day "Caesars Car Wash Opens". I left when Circus Circus was being built because it was never to be the same. Except in these pictures once captured by so many people. Keep it going "Viva Las Vegas"

Alpine Village Cottage Cheese. This closed Bavarian Village Restaurant in Las Vegas featured cottage cheese with a seasoned mix that is still talked about to this day. I make up the spice mix and use it in dips and other meals.
