Rebus Works gallery in the heart of Boylan Heights
Boylan Heights Art Walk 2012
First Sunday afternoon in December, the beautiful home's in Raleigh's first suburb play host to artists from all over the state for the Boylan Heights Art Walk. Great food trucks and variety of art.
Haywood Hall
We had our wedding reception in the gardens of Haywood Hall which is one of the oldest homes in Raleigh. My kids and I love to picnic in the gardens and sketch after gallery hopping in nearby Moore Square Art Square.

Marbles Kids Museum
My kids adore Marbles Kids Museum which has hands-on interactive learning exhibits including a giant pirate ship, an outdoor garden, and an IMAX theater. Great kids' night on First Fridays to let Mom and Dad go gallery hop!
Reedy Creek Pedestrian Bridge
The Pedestrian Bridge connects NC Museum of Art's Museum Park to the greenway system that runs through parks and college campuses through Raleigh.
Cardinal Club
Our rehearsal dinner at the Cardinal Club was one of the most beautiful memories in my life. Overlooking Peace College (where we would be married the next day) along with all of downtown Raleigh with our friends and family has been etched in my memory permanently.
Flanders Gallery
Flanders Gallery is a tiny but awesome gallery for contemporary art in the Warehouse district of downtown Raleigh. A "must see" and "be seen" on the First Friday gallery walk.
Lee Hansley Gallery
Lee Hansley Gallery features nationally known artists in a beautifully restored historic home in Glenwood South district of downtown Raleigh.
The Fish Market Student Gallery
NC State University's School of Design sponsors the Fish Market as a way to showcase student art. Nothing inspires me like young people's art.

Jerry's Artarama
Art of the Carolina is an annual art trade show sponsored by Jerry's Artarama with top art vendors like Holbein and a 4 day series of tons of workshops. Here's one of my favorite Jerry's artists Joe Digiulio with his bold abstract painting.
