Combine the self-rising flour and beer in a large bowl, stirring until just mixed. It’s okay if the batter is a bit lumpy. 2. Generously grease your slow cooker or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup. 3. Pour the dough into the prepared slow cooker. The dough will be sticky, but that’s normal. 4. Cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The bread is ready when the top is firm and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (internal temp of 190-to over 200F).  5. Remove the loaf from the slow cooker and allow it to cool before slicing. Letting it cool will make it easier to slice neatly.
