Gingham is one of the most familiar patterns of the ages, but did you ever really study how it's constructed? A dark square, a light square, and two diagonally-printed mid-range squares. The greens in this quilt are soothing, and the reverse is a quilt all on its own with a center panel of green growing things bordered in a white-on-white fabric. It is quilted overall with a gorgeous leaf pattern.

This quilt is pretty old and because of its age it is in rough shape in some spots. It has some open seems and some staining which adds to its vintage character.
