The Kate Dress Pattern

Kate is a very versatile shift dress. It has bust darts and a slightly curved side seam to give shape. Bias binding neatens the neckline, pockets and the sleeves on Versions 1 and 3. The pockets are curved patch pockets with a little bit of gather to add some interest and finished off with a bound top edge. The dress finishes about 10cm above the knee. Our Kate is a very versatile shift dress. It has bust darts and a slightly curved side seam to give shape. Bias binding neatens the neckline, pockets and the sleeves on Versions 1 and 3. You can use light to medium weight fabrics, such as printed craft cotton, linen, poplin, denim, crepe or satin crepe.
