How to Build a Stronger Bond with Your Barrel Horse
When it comes to barrel racing we want to be a team. We want to have a strong bond in and out of the arena. We want our horses to enjoy their jobs and to be around us. So I put together tips on how to build a strong bond with your barrel horse. Share with a fellow barrel racer if these are helpful! #1 Spend time just being there So many times we get caught up in rushing from place to place (I know I do! As a mom I tend to get caught up in daily running!) When I am at my horse I do my best to be there. That the time spent out with Ava is my time, it helps me to rezen and to feel grounded again. When you are at your horse just be there. Be there with them. Pet them and love on them. #2 Speak love over your horse I have been guilty of being rude to my horse (because thats the norm rig
