Modern Fire Pottery on Instagram: "If you love the look of dipped glazes while using brushed on glazes without the hassle of waxing, this hack is for you. I felt it was time for this clip to have its own video so this little trick can have its own spotlight. Have you tried this hack? P.S. Remember to remove the rubber band before firing! . . . . #Potterylove #ceramicartist #pottersofinstagram #pottery #wheelthrown #handmadeceramics #potterycollector #artcollector"

At the end is a smaller finished version I made earlier. ✫*¨*.¸¸.✶*¨ #porcelainpaperclay #irishceramics #ceramicart #contemporaryceramics #potteryvideos #ceramicsvideos"
Jolene Hewison on Instagram: "These lovelies have just gone into the kiln for the bisque fire. I really looking forward to seeing them finished next week. Even though these colours are beautiful on their own, I love the depth that the Sgraffito Process can bring to them. I love thinking about the contours of land, and the strata of ancient stone that these forms reflect. Slowly, slowly, line by line. If you would like to learn more about the Sgraffito Method or would like to learn how to ‘level up’ your technique, please check out my online course ‘Creative Clay & Introducing Sgraffito’ This will have you covered! There are also a few seats left for my local Summer class. See the link in my bio. Thank you to @thenomadicsmob for this perfect song to accompany the reel. #ceramics #cla

Jena Bedson on Instagram: "I’ve been a wee bit distracted lately with the launch of my latest online workshop “Creating Plaster Press Molds” (for information head to the link in my bio) so haven’t had time to finish the “Galaxy Totem” I began several weeks ago. I also dropped one of the pieces after glaze firing and it smashed.😳 Then I cut my finger while pruning and needed stitches, so I’ve decided to step away from the studio and enjoy a Christmas break down by the seaside.😂🩵💙🩵💙 #potteryforall #ilovepottery #potteryofinstagram #ceramicsdaily #ceramicsmagazine #ceramicschool #ceramicstudio #gardenart #gardensculpture #handbuiltpottery #handbuildingwithclay #ceramicsvideo #victorianceramic #australianceramics"
Jolene Hewison on Instagram: "Perhaps one day I will again, but for the purposes of the work I currently do, I don’t use the ever-popular Clear Glaze in my studio. When I was taught sgrafitto, like most people I was instructed to use underglaze, bisque fire, then coat in clear glaze. I was consistently disappointed by 2 things which I was determined to find a solution to; 1. Colours changing, going blurry, fading or dropping out all together. 2. A glossy finish where I wanted matte. I often filled the kiln with soaring hopes to have them crash once they were fired. Over late nights pondering and thinking through my options, I set about building an alternative solution that worked really well, and also allowed me to expand into a beautiful palette of Natural Clay Slips that have form
Yvette Glaze-Artist on Instagram: "These designs have come from sketch book work inspired by the frosty landscape. I use many layers and print making methods in my sketchbook as well as on the clay surface. I’m always trying new methods to see what happens. I made some plate and bowl shapes as they showed the designs to their full advantage. #handmadeceramicart #contemporaryceramicart #contemporaryceramics #ceramicsurface #ceramicart #markmakingart #markmaking #slabbuiltceramics #clayascanvas #abstractart #abstractceramics"
