Tacos With A Twist! | Tacos With A Twist! Your tastebuds will thank you for these surprisingly good tacos. #dinner #tacos #pork #slowcooker | By Scott & Karen | Starting with the sauce first and we want about two cups for 16 ounces of salsa but we are using picante sauce because that's what we have. Sounds good. This is obviously something for the crock pot, right? It is. It's going to be good. Next, we have some chili powder and this is two tablespoons that we want to use. See if I can get it to come out without dumping. There's one in a little bit. Yeah, that's about one and a half, huh? Let's do a little more. Oh. You know how that happens. Whatever. Okay. It only happens to us. Right. Oregano. Same. We're going to do two tablespoons. And what do we got going on here today? This is going to be Crock Pot pulled pork tacos. Oh those sound really good. I can't wait to try them. Now this ingredients a little surprisingly unsweetened cocoa powder. What? I know. I think you got your recipe mixed up. Tablespoons. I know you like chocolate but this is getting a little ridiculous. Well hey good point. I'll probably like these even more. No really. That's very odd right? It is. Okay. And lastly is some salt. Let me switch hands. We're going to do just one teaspoon. Okay. Alright, let me grab a spoon. And we're going to mix this all together first. Before we add our pork. Now we're going to add the pork and this is about four and a half pounds boneless pork loin. And I'm just going to turn this little guy over. Get it nice and coated. We want to coat it really well. And we're using a big cut of meat because with something like this this is one of those meals that you cook at once. But you get multiple meals for the freezer and that's what we like to do. Yeah absolutely. And I think by the size of that pork I mean we're going to have a lot of leftover. And well that's okay. And then freezer meals are great. For a busy week. I'm going to wash my hands and be right back. Okay. Now all that's left is to cover it. And we're going to cook this on low for seven to eight hours. You could do high for four to five since it's pork. I'll probably do it low and slow today. Okay let's take a look. Smells good. Mhm. It's bubbling. It was. We have it turned off. So now I'm going to use two forks and start shredding this guy. Let's see. Oh it's just falling apart. That's just how we want it. Exactly. Oh gosh I'm getting all steamed up there. Had to back off a little bit. Wow. There is a lot of liquid in there. Which is surprising huh? Well usually that happens and then once you start shredding the meat it starts to absorb. Yeah that's true. That does happen huh? And I'd rather have it that way be dry. Yeah I'm anxious to try them because. I am too and I'm real curious with that cocoa powder in here. Yeah for sure. See what that tastes like. Alright. Sounds great. Alright. Look. You can see all of that juice that was in there. All liquid. Liquid is all soaked up. So it is really really ready to go. It is. And I am anxious to try. So we are going to just put this on some tortillas. Which I'm very excited about. So that's good. Of course then we're going to do a little sour cream. Oh you gotta have sour cream. Absolutely. I need some on the ends though because I want to I want to make sure that I get a little taste of it. Not my best work. But it'll do for now. What do I say? It all goes the same place. Yes. Okay. What else you do in there? And then I'm going to add a little little bit of salsa on here. I'm excited for this dinner. Yes. I need to make sure I get it to the end because that's the part I'm going to be trying. And then of course a little bit of fiesta cheese. I mean it's a fiesta. Come on. I'm going to sprinkle this on. Kind of one of my favorite parts. Yes, it is. Okay. Okay. I am ready to roll this up. The suspense. And hopefully not burn my mouth on on the meat because it's still very hot. But yeah I'm anxious to try this. So let's go. Oh, okay. Yay. Now, I'm really excited for dinner. Oh, it's really good. Okay. It's a keeper. There's so much flavor in that meat. It's not spicy. But there's just something in it. I don't know what it is. It's like setting it off? Yeah that just I mean when you bite into it you're like oh man that's some really seriously good flavored meat. Okay. Yeah. I'm excited. Yeah the pork is really good. It came out great. Okay. And look we have so much left. So much. I mean we'll eat a little bit of this for dinner. Yep. And then we're going to be packaging it up. Yep. Put it in the freezer. And use eating it for a long time. No that's great. Those busy days we're going to enjoy it. Good. Alright y'all here it is. Crock pot pulled pork tacos. Give them a try and have a blessed day.

I've got loads of them here on my greenhouse plants. Got my peppers. This should make a few bottles and I needed some garlic. I have about eight ounces of peppers here. I just roughly chopped them up and have about three tablespoons of EVOO. They're going in. These are going to cook on low heat and covered for about 8 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, I have about six cloves of garlic here and it's going to go in. Just stir this around for about 3 minutes. The smell is heavenly. Then, add a cup of vinegar about or so tablespoons of sugar, two teaspoons kosher salt, then cover and simmer for another 10 minutes. Once it's done, let it cool and then put it in a blender. Okay so a little taste test on a tortilla chip. Ooh that's a lot. Oh I'm so excited. You guys, this stuff is so good. I literally, I put this on everything. If I could have one sauce in my refrigerator, it would be this. A 000 times over. It's so good. It's not too mild but it's not too spicy. It's somewhere in between, I don't know, maybe like a five, like literally somewhere perfectly in the middle and the flavor is incredible. Trust me, it's so good. Thanks, garden.
