Ume (Plum Blossom) Japanese Tsumami Kanzashi

A show-stopping piece reminiscent of classical Japanese dance and theater, this ume (plum) blossom kanzashi is crafted from hand-dyed habutae silk. Twelve flowers are accented by red buds in the bouquet. It is mounted on a silver-plated hairpin. We employ traditional Japanese methods in the creation of kanzashi. All of our hair ornaments are made of silk and are hand-dyed. “Pinched” in the traditional tsumami method.
