This flavor combo is so decadent and delicious! To recreate it, here’s what I did and what I learned: ⭐️ I used a Ghirardelli box mix (I was too impatient to make my homemade recipe 😆). ⭐️Baked at 325 for 40 mins in a 9x13” pan. That was too long. I should have taken it out around 25 minutes probably. ⭐️Also to speed things up, I put the brownies in the freezer for a minute. DON’T do that 😬 ⭐️For my ganache, I used 3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup heavy cream. Heated that up until the chocolate melted and the mixture was smooth. ⭐️I used about one container of Biscoff spread ⭐️For my cheesecake element, I used 1 cup heavy cream, 1/3 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla and 4 ounces cream cheese. Beat everything but the cream cheese until soft peaks form, then add the room temperature cream cheese and beat until the mixture reaches medium-stiff peaks. I guess this is sort of our French cheese cake :) It is soft, not too sweet, I make it with a sweet pastry but you could also just make the soft gâteau on its own. We spent the weekend up north in Cheshire in Luke’s family and it was a nice refreshing weekend in the country side, a lot of eating and walks, perfect to refresh after a busy week! Hope you had a nice Bank holiday weekend 🫶 For the pate sucrée (sweet pastry) 250g of plain flour 125g of butter 1 egg 50g of sugar 1 pinch of salt For the gateau au fromage blanc 500g of greek yogurt (or fromage blanc) 4 eggs 100g of sugar 100g of corn flour 1 vanilla pod Follow the video, whipp the egg whites and add to the egg, sugar and fromage blanc and corn flour mix. Cook for 30min at 180C.
