Apply some hot glue to the bottom of a tea cup and now set it down and apply pressure. I like to pick all different tea cups. Poop. Adorable. Next get a pot of water. Set it to high. And in the meantime grab some tape. You want two pieces and an unscented candle. I got these from the Dollar Tree. Okay. And Usually the religious ones are unscented and just grip it tight. That way you seal these edges in. Once the water is boiling you can go ahead and just stick this in. Okay. Feel free to move it around. You want this to just melt. Okay. Once you start noticing liquid take it out. And then set a mixing bowl on top of your boiling water just like that. So right here you can see this worked. And now Just take off the tape here. Be careful. Perfect. Next, grab your candle and pour out the liquid and then using a fork, just grab the candle here Now, as this is melting here, pour in some citronella and also add some lavender wax. All of this I got for a dollar at the Dollar Tree. I like to add two of these. Give this a stir every once in a while to make sure that it's melting down properly. Now, once you see that wick release, just go ahead and grab it because now, I'm going to cut this into threes. See ya. Now, add some hot glue to your tea cup like this and stick the wick in just like that. Do this to all your cups. Poop. Now, once this is all melted, you can take this off the pot and just pour some into your tea cup. Beautiful. Alright, everyone. So, a trick that I like is to have these set in the fridge. It happens way quicker. These came out so good. Beautiful. Okay. So, look how awesome this looks Simply light this up. And now you have a bug repelling candle that just looks oh so cute look at that I just love this teacup idea alright my favorite part is you can set this anywhere and with one candle we got multiples out of it and all of them look so cute now when this is done you can refill this again and again and again I am just so obsessed let me know what you think in the comments and hope you all enjoy this craft everyone
67K views · 2.6K reactions | Dollar Tree DIY | Dollar Tree DIY | By Liz Fenwick DIY | There's always such good glassware out at Dollar Tree. I found this glass vase and love the texture and I found a clear plate with the same texture on it. I'm going to use some E 6000 along the top of the vase and then I'll place the plate on top. I found a product called Rust Oleum lens tint and sprayed one light coat on the entire piece. I wanted to add a fun candle to the top of my candle holder and that's a Tropicana juice contain Now, I wasn't sure exactly how many bags of the candle melt I was going to need. I ended up using two for this project. Once it was melted, I poured it into my juice container. So, I want my candle wick to be in the middle. Now, you need something to kind of hold it in place while it's going to dry. Let it dry overnight. I removed the craft stick from the top then I cut out the paper along the edge and this candle looks so high end and I love the way it looks on my black candle holder.
Crafts - Homemade Scented Candles
These homemade scented candles use recycled jars and their scents and colours can be tailored to what you like. Buying a good scented candle is pricy, but making them at home doesn’t have to be. I absolutely love candles and have been known to spend a pretty penny on them in the past. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t start making these sooner because they are so easy! And the repurposed jars can be used over and over again.
