Omaha Steaks has a long and storied history, starting with its founders, J.J. Simon and his son B.A. The two moved to Omaha, Nebraska, after coming from Latvia to the American heartland in 1898. After working for butchers for nearly 20 years, they opened Table Supply Meat Company in 1917.
