    Bienvenidos Families! How are you enjoying the Fall Cheer? As we sweep into November, we hope you will join us for some of our exciting Perkins School Community Activities! In this newsletter, we will tell you more about: Box Tops Challenge Open House Parent Council/School Site Council Elections Halloween Bullying Series Parent Education Classes

    Open House
    We had a great Open House!!! We thank the over 80 families that attended our event! We look forward to inviting you to our Spring affair!

    Box Tops Challenge


    We are having a Box Tops Challenge! We are challenging every single student to bring in box tops to help the school provide great activities and programs to the entire Michael J. Perkins School! The class that brings in the most box tops will be provided with a free field trip to the Frog Pond at Boston Common. We will even provide the hot chocolate!!! Each day or week, students can bring in their box tops to Ms. Correa-Gonzalez or their teacher from November 1st through the 29th. For more questions, please call the office.

    The other sessions are 11/25, 12/2, 12/9, and 12/16. November 21st School Site/Parent Council Meeting from 5:30 8:00 p.m. at Michael J. Perkins School _______________________________.

    Halloween!
    Tomorrow is a normal learning day!!! Students may not wear costumes to school or come to school eating candy or other treats. Your childs teacher will inform you of their decision on having Halloween treats! If you have any questions, please call the office!

    Save the Dates


    October 31st from 8:00 8:30 Parent Council and School Site Council Elections. You are invited to participate and must be present to be elected to an office! November 14th Picture Day November 14th from 9-11 a.m. @ Tierney Learning Center Computer Lab (across from school): Families First: Anti-Bullying Parent Education Series. The other dates are 11/21 and 12/5. We will provide free childcare and snacks! November 18th Parent University Math Education for Parents at Tierney Learning Center (across from school) from 9-11 a.m. Participants will receive free Parent University points and free childcare and snacks.
