For Immediate Release

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in


identifying a man wanted for sexual battery.

The Department has now received four reports from separate adult females stating that
while they were walking during various hours of the day at different locations a suspect
approached them and intentionally grabbed their breasts and on one occasion, the
victim’s buttocks.

The incidents took place on the following dates:

On 8/20/09, at about 7:30 p.m., in the 5500 block of Spring Creek Loop wherein the
suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, 5’6” tall, 160 pounds,
having brown hair and eyes, wearing a long sleeve white t-shirt, brown checkered cargo
shorts, and brown sandals. He was observed to drive away in a gray 1980’s possible
Chrysler with the first three characters of the license plate “3PP”.

On 8/21/09, at about 9:45 a.m., in the 1000 block of McDonald Way wherein the suspect
was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5’6” tall, medium build, dark short hair,
wearing a red baseball cap with a white insignia, dark clothing and tan high-top shoes.

On 7/29/09, at about 6:30 a.m., in the 300 block of South Chester Avenue wherein the
suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5’8”-5”10” tall, dark complexion,
medium build, black hooded pullover style sweatshirt, black ball cap, jeans and work
boots. Suspect was seen driving a grey possible Ford Taurus.

On 7/20/09, at about 9:00 p.m., in the 2400 block of Wilson Road, wherein the suspect
was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's, 5’9” tall, medium build, black ball cap,
black T shirt and light colored shorts. Suspect was riding a chrome BMX style bike.

Computer generated composites of the suspect/s in the two most recent cases were
submitted with this release.

Anyone with information related to either of these incidents is asked to call Detective
Herman Caldas at 326-3556.
