    What policy do you adopt? A10. Sales department should be responsible for the recruitment of SPOs, HR simply provides a guideline and a job description which is followed when hiring it. After the approval of the RSM the application of the applicant is sent to HR where it is scrutinized and then a final approval is given from their which is accompanied with an appointment letter. The Prominent role of HR is to identify new jobs, and with the consultation of the sales department they deeply analyze and give final approval. In the process of recruiting the the most important thing is the coordination between the departments, because a good sales personnel can lead your company to the highest turnover or can take you in loss. The eligibility criteria of the sales personnel should be drafted carefully so that you can filter the best employee among all the recruits. Because sales department is the only department where the personnel has the direct interaction with the customer, and a sales personnel is representing the companys image. Q11. What are the basic requirements of the type of employees which you require? A11. Age should be less than 32 years for an SPO, should not experience a industry freshie or a fresh graduate from the college. A BSC qualified person and preferably male. Other than this the companys more emphasize is on the extracurricular activities and on the other personality traits such as dressing, hairstyle, confidence level, and ability to extract solution in a tough situation. Other than this, the basic thing that we observe in a sales recruit is that if he is a good listener or not? Because while having a discussion with a customer you have to be patient and should know how to handle each and every situation. Q12. Do you look for specialized sales force? A12. In case of eye division only, where we do consider a bit of experience and if not then the new employee is given intensive training of the job and then on the job training. This is true that hiring a experienced a sales person will save you a lot of cost in the training, The reason behind eye division is that eye is one of the most sensitive and fragile part of the body and requires a healthy knowledge of it.
