Design Manufacturing Class (Jan 2014-Present) Worked in a team that designed a clock-radio that was powered by water flow and a Turbine-DC Motor system Created Solidworks drawings of the turbine and gear system, then machined and fabricated the system components Completed hands on assembly and tests of an alpha prototype and made necessary changes to make a beta prototype and eventually final working prototype of the clock-radio system EcoCar2 (Jan 2012-June 2012) Participated on a team that traveled to Los Angeles, CA in May 2012 to compete in a competition with 15 universities who each designed hybrid-electric vehicle Helped aid in the design process for a hybrid-electric vehicle which was implemented and used to construct the teams vehicle in the 2012-2013 year of competition Engineering Design Class (Jan 2012-May 2012) Worked on a team that came up with a plan to re-design college dorm rooms to make them more energy efficient, user friendly, and more aesthetically appealing to the user Worked with the same team on a project for ArcelorMittal to come up with a better process for recycling steel products

Leadership Experience:
President- Penn State Club Swim (May 2013-Present) Manage and allocate a $40,000 budget, covering all meets including the ECC National Swim Meet, as well as practice times and other expenses Lead over 200 members in fundraising efforts, at competition, and at practice by using interpersonal skills and communication skills to ensure the club works at its highest potential Act as a liaison for the club in dealing with University representatives to schedule practices, home meets, and away meets at Rutgers University, the University of Virginia and the Georgia Institute of Technology Vice President- Penn State Club Swim (May 2012-May 2013) Organized two home time trial events, as well as uniting the team to participate in an Autism Speaks 5K run Led the club by acting as a role model and won an award for Most Involved Male Member on the team Assisted the President in all of their duties with respect to the budget and all members. Dancer in THON 2014- Penn State IFC/PanHellenic Dance Marathon (THON) (Feb 2014) Was a dancer in the Dance Marathon representing the Club Swim team, and was awake and stood for 46 hours straight Donor and Alumni Relations Committee Member- THON (Sep 2011-Feb 2013) Gave weekly presentations to a committee of 30 people about the effects of cancer on the patient and those around them Distributed and recollected over 500,000 letters informing the message of THON and requesting monetary donations to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund and Hershey Medical Center Led tour groups of 40 people during the 46 hour Dance Marathon describing THON today and the evolution it made
