This document describes two filters for mitigating interference between Inmarsat and Iridium signals: an Iridium bandpass filter and an Iridium notch filter. The Iridium bandpass filter allows signals between 1616-1626 MHz with less than 1 dB loss while rejecting signals at 1628 MHz by 30 dB. The Iridium notch filter rejects signals between 1619-1626 MHz by 25 dB while allowing signals from 1627-1660 MHz with less than 1.5 dB loss. Both filters are designed for airborne applications and are RTCA/DO-160E qualified.
