Happy Prince

The story is about an immortal prince who helped the poor and needy in his village without thought for himself. When he died, the villagers made a statue in his honor with gold and jewels. One day, a swallow sat on the statue and learned the prince was crying because he still wanted to help the poor. The swallow agreed to stay and act as a messenger for the prince, helping many people. To help others, the prince gave all his jewels and gold to the swallow. Eventually, the swallow grew cold and died. When God saw their noble sacrifices, he had the angels bring the swallow and broken-hearted prince to paradise.
