PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
IDP Education India Private Limited (New Delhi) – Counselor – May 2005 to present
Major responsibilities:
• Counseling students interested in pursuing higher education in Australia and assisting them in all the procedures
involved, from making their Pre-Visa files to getting their accommodation arranged.
• Assisting representatives from Australian Universities on their visit to India to interview prospective students.
• Actively marketing Australian education in various cities such as New Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Dehradun,
Kota, Pilani, Jaipur etc., involving school and college visits and meeting academic counselors.
• Serving as a Client Relation Champion of the Branch - Assessing the education market of various
cities. Formulating and customizing strategies based on the requirements.
• Acknowledged as the only IDP representative in Dehradun, Kanpur and Lucknow.
• Marketing, execution and operational handling of the biggest Australian Education Exhibition held in India.
• Training staff on the entire process of counseling students and marketing Australian education
International exposure:
• Selected to go to Australia to give a presentation on our Indian Market by Tafe NSW in Sydney in May 2007.
• Invited by Deakin University in Melbourne to attend the International representatives Week in May 2008.
• Undergone training in Australia by the universities in Sydney and Melbourne.
• Invited by University of Western Sydney to give a presentation on our Indian Market and Undergo training
Program in Nov 2009.

• One of the few counselors to be personally invited by UTS for training in Kochi, India.
