Origami Frog MAKE YOUR OWN HOPPING BUSINESS CARD FROG What to do: 1. Position the business card so the short sides are on top and bottom and the long sides are left and right. 2. Fold the top right corner down to make a triangle so the top edge lines up with the left hand edge. Crease and unfold. 3. Fold the top left corner down to make a triangle so the top edge lines up with the right hand edge. Crease and unfold. 4. Fold the top portion down at the point where the middle of the X was created by your last two folds. 5. You now will have two folds that look like an X, formed by 4 triangles (top, bottom, left and right). 6. Fold the top triangle down while tucking in the two side triangles (see diagram). You may need an adults help for this part. 7. Take the corners of your triangle and fold them upwards to the top point of the card (the frogs nose). 8. Fold the left and right edges in so they meet at the center of the frog. 9. The bottom edge (closest to you) will be the frogs toes. Fold the toes up to line up with the nose. Crease. 10. Fold the toes down again to line up with the crease you just made. 11. Flip the frog over so that its standing upright. 12. Press down with your fnger on the back of the frog and let your fnger slide off past its toes. Your frog should hop up into the air. Things to try: Fold the toes bigger or smaller. Push harder or softer when launching the frog.
