Argument: College cost too much! It should be free
General Overview: I want college to be free to all students, many countries have already began giving free college tuitions, and I want free college education for students.
1.In 1981 a full college tuition was around $10,000 (1)
2. In 31 years the price for college has gone up about $20,000 (1)
3."Eliminate tuition and fees for public higher education, and require instead that students pay 12 percent of their earnings for the first 12 years of their full-time employment into a fund that finances public higher education. . . . , and no one would begin paying until they're working full time."(2)
4.Oregon, Washington, and California have begun experimenting with how they fund public universities (2) 5.A large fraction of the increase in tuition comes from a drop in state funding for higher education.(3)
6.Higher ed costs more than it ever has before, and that more and more people are going insanely deep into debt to pay for it.(3)

8. NEVER ignore delinquency or default notices from your loan servicer. If you dont make your monthly loan payments, you will become delinquent on your student loan and risk going into default. (4)

Your student loans cannot be canceled because you didnt get the education or job you expected, or because you didnt complete your education (unless you couldnt complete your education because your school closed).(4)
10. You are responsible for staying in touch with your servicer and making your payments, even if you do not receive a bill.(4)
