In an effort to test the potential impact of descriptive terminology on question 30 pertaining to the New York Dream Act undocumented immigrants or illegal aliens we asked approximately half the sample the question with one term and the other half the identical question with the other term. Given that the margin of error for these
reduced samples is +/- 5.7%, there is no statistically significant difference between the topline frequencies for these two modes of asking support for or opposition to the New York Dream Act.
