Objective
My goal as a future educator is to create a classroom that allows students to achieve their greatest potential. In order for me to do this, I
have to implement different teaching strategies that will benefit the variety of students in my classroom. Along with integrating diversity in
the classroom, its also important to create a classroom environment that makes students feel safe and not judged. Its important to create
a safe learning environment because students do best when they feel comfortable in the classroom and as if they could always approach
me with any issue they encounter. To continue, getting your students involved and engaged in the classroom is also a very crucial
component of classroom unity. Peer involvement may be a great way for students to gain confidence in the classroom. Also by
communicating with their peers students might even retain information better or see another way someone might problem solve. As an
upcoming educator, I feel like it is extremely important to remember why you love teaching and to always enjoy your job to the fullest. Its
good to remember to have fun with teaching and to learn from what went well and what didnt go so well. My hopes are to gain a position
teaching in an elementary school setting.
