TS Whirlwind

Orpington Sea Cadet Unit

London to Brighton Cycle Ride
21 June 2015
WCCA Marshalls Required.
This is a British Heart Foundation Event and is open to riders to compete in the 54 miles
challenge which is traditionally held on Fathers Day. There are 15 rest stops on the route
where there are toilets and refreshments for the competitors.
The Cadet Unit has traditionally provided Marshalls for this event and is a good fundraiser
for the unit in that each volunteer raises 90.00 for the unit. The Unit has registered 30
volunteers for this years event which will raise 2,700 and Stephen and I have said to the
Unit that we will get 10 volunteers from the WCCA and their friends.
A Marshall is required to attend on the designated route location (to be advised later),
which is usually around the M25 where the route crosses over or under the motorway.
Marshalls are required to attend at around 6.00am in the morning and will be released at
around midday after the last riders have passed through.

Register now and help the Cadets.

Currently four have volunteered for this and who are;
