    Initial Configuration
    1. Configure the physical topology as shown in the diagram.
    2. Configure devices with the appropriate hostnames, IP addresses, subnet masks, and default
    gateways.
    L3 EhterChannel Configuration (20 points)
    1. Configure a Layer 3 EtherChannel for the links between SW1 and SW2
    a. Statically set the mode as on
    2. Configure the PortChannel interface on SW1 with the IP address of 172.16.1.1 and subnet mask
    of 255.255.255.0
    3. Configure the PortChannel interface on SW2 with the IP address of 172.16.1.2 and subnet mask
    of 255.255.255.0
    Trunking,VTP, &VLANs (10 points)
    1. Configure the link between SW1 and SW3 as a dot1q trunk
    a. Disable DTP

    a. Configure SW1 as a VTP server
    b. Configure SW3 as VTP clients

    Host Port Configuration (10 points)

    1. Configure the interfaces that connect to the PCs as access ports and associate them with the
    appropriate VLAN (see topology).
    2. Configure the interfaces that connect to the PCs such that they transition to the spanning tree
    forwarding state immediately.
    3. Configure the interfaces that connect to the PCs such that one will go into the err-disable state if
    it receives a BPDU.
    Spanning Tree Protocol (10 points)
    1. Configure IEEE 802.1w on all switches.
    SVIs and Routing (20 points)

    Configure an SVI for VLAN 10 on SW1. Assign it an IP address of 172.16.10.254.


    Configure an SVI for VLAN 20 on SW1. Assign it an IP address of 172.16.20.254.
    Configure an SVI for VLAN 30 on SW2. Assign it an IP address of 172.16.30.254.
    Configure EIGRP on SW1 and SW2 such that both are aware of all networks.
    Configure the network such that EIGRP packets are only sent to the required devices.

    DHCP (20 points)


    1. Configure DHCP on SW1
    a. PC1, PC2, and PC3 should be able to obtain IP information from SW1.
    b. DNS Server 172.16.99.99.
    c. All PCs should be able to communicate to each other after completion of configuration.
    Loop Prevention (10 points)
    1. Enable a loop prevention feature that will monitor the physical configuration of the cable and
    detect when a unidirectional link exists on the link between SW1 and SW3.
    Verify your configurations and have Instructor check off your work.
