GOALS For students to comprehend and interpret the main ideas behind a short story and
to develop their own ideas from the text.
OBJECTIVES: The student should be able to independently complete the six question
comprehension sheet in fifteen minutes to a standard of 83% (one incorrect response)
The student should be able to complete the newspaper article task for homework, informing
the reader of the six criterions (who, what) ready to present next lesson.
