3 KVA, 1 PHASE RELAY STABILIZER TESTING
Total Load: 1. 200 W Bulb :- 2 Nos.
2. 100 W Bulb :- 1 No. 3. Tube Lights :- 4 Nos. 4. Fan :2 Nos. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On GEB Supply: GEB Voltage : 265 Volts Current drawn by above load on GEB Voltage : 3.96 Ampere
After installing 1 Phase, 3 KVA Relay Stabilizer:
Stabilizer Output Voltage : 230 Volts Current drawn by above load : 3.33 Ampere ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now, if at our home we are installing 3 KVA, 1 Phase Relay Stabilizer for above Load,
If we are using above load for 14 hours,
Now, without installing this Stabilizer, For 1 HourUnit consumption will be: 265 X 3.96 X 0.8 = 839.52 Watts So KWH = 0.84 Units So for 14 Hours, Unit Consumption will be : 14 X 0.84 = 11.76 Units So for 60 days, Unit consumption will be : 11.76 X 60 = 706 Units Now, with installing this Stabilizer, For 1 HourUnit consumption will be: 235 X 3.33 X 0.8 = 626.04 Watts So KWH = 0.63 Units So for 14 Hours, Unit Consumption will be : 14 X 0.63 = 8.82 Units So for 60 days, Unit consumption will be : 8.82 X 60 = 529 Units SO SAVING IN UNIT CONSUMPTION WILL BE : 706 529 = 177
UNITS
IN AMOUNT APPROX. RS. 800 IN 2 MONTHS.
Now if above load being shut off for 10 hours a day,
Current drawn by Stabilizer at No load condition (Magnetizing current): At GEB 265 V0.25 Ampere. For 1 HourUnit consumption will be: 265 X 0.25 X 0.8 = 53 Watts So KWH = 0.053 Units So for 14 Hours, Unit Consumption will be : 14 X 0.053= 0.74 Units So for 60 days, Unit consumption will be : 0.74 X 60 = 45 Units IN AMOUNT APPROX. RS. 200 IN 2 MONTHS. SO TOTAL SAVING IN AMOUNT : 800 200 = RS. 600 IN 2 MONTHS.
