Converting Present and Past Tense Verbs Worksheet


The present tense of a verb names an action that happens now. The
past tense of a verb names an action that already happened.
Directions: Re-write each sentence and convert each past tense verb to
present, and each present tense verb to past.
Example: The students in the class are on time every day.
Answer: The students in the class were on time every day.
