Present Simple

We use it for actions which happen all the time or


repeatedly.
It is used with the following words: always,
usually, often, sometimes, never.

We use this to say that someone was in the
middle of doing something.
We often use it to talk about a longer action in
contrast to a shorter action, for example, Anne
