childhood ?
Any factors influencing fractures in
children & adolescents ?

EPOS-EFORT

The incidence of fractures during childhood

almost doubled between the 1950s and the
1970s.

When considered on an annual basis, 2,1% of all children

(2,6% for boys; 1,7% for girls) sustained at least one
fracture each year
