I graded students on the completeness of their


puppets (2 product, 1 final products), their drawings,
and their step-by-step presentation.

Before the students begin producing their foot puppet, teacher ask
the students to do the exercise related to toes and get responses from
them. Teacher introduces poem entitled, Toes by Judith Nicholas.
Then in pair, students produce a foot puppet by applying all the steps
in the instructions given. In group, students create the actions related
to the poem and recite the poem with actions.

educator using this learning activity be successful?

Students love this activity and it gets them explore


their creativity realizing how much English is involved
through their presentation.
