PROCEDURE TO INSTALL WINDOWS SERVER

2003 ENTERPRISE EDITION

1. Switch on the Computer and insert Windows Server 2003 (CD) into CD Drive.
2. Press any key when the message Press Any Key to Boot from CD…………….. appears.
3. Wait from Welcome to Setup screen
4. Press Enter to continue.
5. Press F8 on Windows Licensing Agreement screen
6. Press Esc. to continue
7. Delete the existing partitions (C: and D:)

TO DELETE D:
Select D: using arrows keys press D key press L key to confirm

TO DELETE C:
Select C: using arrows keys press C key press L key to confirm

8. Create Primary Partition (C:)

Press C key type size as 3660 (assuming hard disk size is 9 (GB) and leave the remaining
space as un partitioned space and press Enter to create.
9. Press Enter to install. (Install in C:\ Drive)
10. Select format the partition using the NTFS file system option and press Enter to continue.
11. After formatting is over setup will start copying files.
12. The computer will start after file copy is over.

***Note :- Don’t press any key when the message Press any key to boot from CD….
appears.
13. Set up will continue.
14. Click on customize…. button on Regional and Language Options window.
15. Click on Language tab
16. Select Install files for complex script and right to left language (including Thai) check box.
17. Click on OK button on Install Supplement Language Support message box.
18. Click on OK button.
19. Click on Next button.
20. Tupe name and organization and click on Next button on Personalised Your Software
window.
21. Type the 25 product key TYK8R-HKVGQ-K9Y7Y-D4PRP-4F8YB.
22. Click on Next button. on Licensing Mode window.
23. Type the Computer Name (provide by SCRB). Leave user name and password blank.
24. Select the time zone as (GMT +05:30) Chenai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi and Click on
Next button. on Date and Time Setting window.
25. Setup will continue.
26. Select Custom Settings option and click on Next button on Network Setting window
27. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) option and click on Properties button on Network
Components window.
28. Select Use the following IP Address option and type the relevant IP Address and Subnet mask
on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
29. Click on OK button
30. Click on Next button.
31. Accept the default workgroup name WORKGROUP and click on Next button on Workgroup
or Computer Domain window.
32. Setup will continue. After successful installation, computer will restart remove Windows
Server CD from CD Drive
33. When the Computer Boots for the first time, Manage your Server window appears. Select
don’t display this page at logon and close the window.
34. Right click on task bar Click on Properties Click on Start Menu tab Select Classic
Start Menu Click on OK button.

PROCEDURE TO CREATE SECONDARY PARTITION (D:)

1. Right Click on My Computer icon. Click on Manage.
2. Click on Disk Management on Computer Management window
3. Right Click on CD-ROM (D:) base. Click on Change Drive Letter and Paths…….
4. Click on Change….. Button
5. Select E from the combo box and click on OK button on Change Drive Letter or path window
6. Click on Yes button to confirm
7. Right Click on Unallocated box and click on New Partition…….
8. Click on Next button on new Partition wizard.
9. Select Extended Partition radio button Click on Next button
10. Click on Next button on Specify Partition size window.
11. Click on finish button
12. Right Click on Free Space Click on New Logical Drive……
13. Click on Next button.
14. Click on Next button.
15. Click on Next button.
16. Click on Next button.
17. Click on Next button.
18. Click on Finish button. Wait for completion of Formatting!!!
 PROCEDURE TO INSTALL SQLSERVER 2000

1. Insert SQL Server 2000 CD into CD drive

2. Click on SQL Sever 2000 components
3. Click on Install Database
4. Select don’t display this message again and Click on to Continue
5. Click on Next button.
6. Click on Next button.
7. Click on Next button.
8. Click on Next button.
9. Click on Yes button.
10. Type the 25 digit product key

11. Select Server and Client Tools option and Click on Next button.
12. Click on Next button
13. Select Custom option
14. Click on Browse….. button to specify the path for program Files. Type the path as
D:\SQL2000 and Click on OK button on Choose Folder window.
15. Click on Browse…. Button to specify the path for Data Files. Type the path as
D:\SQL2000 and Click on OK button on Choose Folder window.

16. Click on Next button

17. Click on Next button
18. Select use the Local System Accounts option
19. Click on Next button
20. Select mixed mode (Windows Authentication and SQL Server) radio button and Blank
Password (not recommended) and Click on Next button.
21. Click on Next button
22. Click on Next button
23. Click on Next button
24. Select per seat for option type ten (10)
25. Click on Next button
26. Restart the Computer.
PROCEDURE TO INSTALL SQL SERVER 2000 ANALYSIS SERVICES

1. Insert SQL Server 2000 CD into CD drive

2. Click on SQL Server 2000 components
3. Click on Install Analysis Services.
4. Select don’t display this message again (in the check box) and Click on Continue button SQL
Server 2000 Analysis Services SP2 and below.
5. Click on Next button
6. Click on Yes button
7. Click on browse button
8. Type D:\ Analysis Services in the path text box on Choose Folder window and
Click on OK button.
9. Click on Yes button to create Folder.
10. Click on Next button
11. Click on Next button
12. Click on Next button
13. Wait……… Click on Finish button.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL SQL SERVER 2000 SERVICES PACK-3

1. Insert SQL SERVICE PACK CD into CD drive.

2. Double click on SQL2000-SP3 folder.
3. Double Click on Setup.bat file
4. Click on Next button
5. Click on Yes button
6. Click on Next button
7. Click on Next button
8. Select Ignore the security threat warning, leave the password blank radio button Click on OK
button.
9. Select Upgrade Microsoft Search and Apply SQL Server 2003SP3 (Required) check box and
Click on Continue button.
10. Click on OK button
11. Click on Next button
12. Wait…. Click on OK button.
13. Click on Finish button.

PACK-3

1. Double click on SQL 2000- Analysis-SP3 folder

2. Double Click on Setup.exe file.
3. Click on Next button.
4. Click on Yes button
5. Click on OK button
6. Wait….. click on Finish button.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL MICROSOFT OFFICE XP-PROFESSIONAL

1. Insert Microsoft Office CD into CD Drive

2. Type the 25 Digit Product Key
3. Click on Next button
4. Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement check box
5. Click on Next button
6. Select Complete radio button and change Install to : path as D:\Program Files\ Microsoft
Office.
7. Click on next button
8. Click on Install button
9. Wait….. Click on OK button. On successful Completion.

PROCEDURE TO CREATE BLANK CCIS MLE DATABASE

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.
3. Select Blank Database Creation radio button and click on Run Setup button adjacent to the
option selection.
4. After successful creation message……. appears. Click on OK button.
 PROCEDURE TO INSTALL .NET FRAMEWORK ON WINDOWS
XP OR 2000.

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.
3. Select Framework Setup radio button and click on Run Setup button adjacent to the option
selection.
4. Click on Yes button
5. Select I agree option and click on Install button.
6. Wait till installation completes….. Click on OK button.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL CCIS MLe APPLICATION.

1. Insert CCLIS Mle CD into CD Drive

2. CCIS MLe setup Page will run automatically.
3. Select Application Setup radio button
4. Click on Run Setup button Adjacent to the option selection.
5. If a message showing Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date….
appears, click on OK button, the Yes button to restart the computer.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 after computer is restarted.
6. Click on OK button.
7. Click on Begin Setup icon
8. Click on Continue button
9. Click on No to All button if version Conflict window appears.
10. Click on Ignore or Yes button if warning message appears.
11. Click on OK button. After installation completes.
 PROCEDURE TO INSTALL WEB- REPORTS.

LOCAL AREA CONNECTION (LAN) MUST BE ENABLE AND CODE MUST BE

PLUGGED INTO LAN CARD BEFORE INSTALLING WEB REPORTS

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive.

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.
3. Select Web Reports Setup radio button and click on Run Setup button.
4. Click on Next button.
5. Type Web Reports in Virtual directory text box and Click on Next button.
6. Click on Next button
7. Click on Close button.

PROCEDURE TO INSTALL CCIS MLE ADMIN UTILITY

1. Insert CCIS MLe CD into CD Drive.

2. CCIS MLe Setup Page will run automatically.
3. Select Admin Utility Setup radio button and click on Run setup button
4. Click on OK button.
5. Click on Begin Setup icon.
6. Click on Continue button.
7. Click on Ignore or Yes button.
8. Click on OK button.
