    -Students complete guided notes (guided learning), listing the 8 major cities of Texas and 4 states that border
    Texas.

    -Teach guides students through labeling a political map of Texas with the 8 major cities and 4 bordering
    states.

    Students apply the information learned in the “explain” portion
