    Objective
    My objective is to seek all possibilities to enhance my career opportunity. I am looking to pursue opportunities that have the potential to act as building blocks for a successful prosperous occupational existence.

    Experience
    Youth Counselor, Clarinda Academy, Clarinda, IA December 2009 Present 40 Hrs/Week

    Clarinda Academy is a juvenile delinquent residential facility that, as an organization, gives youth a chance change unacceptable social behavior as well as a new start in life and an opportunity to get back into school and achieve academic success. As a Youth Counselor at Clarinda Academy it is my responsibility to ensure safety and security for my fellow staff and for the students. I am responsible for processing of necessary paperwork submitted to various state departments in order to document progress of the students. I am also responsible for mentoring these youth in efforts to overcome negative behaviors and influences. Remedial Specialist, Clarinda Academy, Clarinda, IA May 2011 August 2011 40 Hrs/week

    My title as a Remedial Specialist required me to fulfill duties of a Youth Counselor and a Remedial Specialist. As a Remedial Specialist it is my responsibility to teach life skills to the students of Clarinda Academy. The skills are mandated by a state organization and it is my responsibility to ensure that the skills are being taught at the right time and in the right fashion. I am also responsible for daily documentation of individual students on my dorm regarding their respective progress with the particular skill for that day. The documentation is required to have participation for the skill session and also specific examples of how the student reacted to the skill session. The documentation follows specific formats that are required for proper processing of the paperwork.
