WHO Child Growth Standards Note: If a child aged less than 2 years is measured standing up, change the height to length by adding 0.7 cm BEFORE calculating BMI, because the BMI-for-age for Birth to 2 years is based on length. For children 2 to 5 years measured lying down, convert length to height by subtracting 0.7 cm BEFORE calculating BMI for application of the BMI-for-age chart.
