Electronic Engineer

Job Description Computer engineers are people who work with, build and program computers. Computer engineering integrates electrical engineering and computer science in one field. Computer engineers typically write programs, research and designing computer hardware and create electronic products. Design and improve circuits. They troubleshoot broken or malfunctioning electronic. Computer engineers are also suited for robotics research. These Engineers specialize in everything electronic or computer based. From computers to phones to X-ray machine. Education Bachelor Degree in computer, electronic and physics engineering. Professional engineer license. High School courses that should be taken: Computer Sciences, Math, business, English. Build teamwork and people skills to keep an edge on the competition. A masters or doctoral degree required for higher positions. Takes 4-5 years to complete the degree. Earnings Estimated average annual earnings: $76,594.00 Estimated average hourly earnings: $35.15 Fresh out of School: $60,000

Workplace Environment Work environment depends on which field you specialize in. Generally Computer Engineers will work in an office building, sitting at a desk or a research center, working in a lab. Where ever this career takes you, you will have to work with other professionals and be able to work with them.
