    RALPH NADER THROWS HIS SUPPORT BEHIND ROCKY ANDERSON

    Portland, OR ... This afternoon the Progressive Party of Oregon announced that Rocky Anderson would be its nominee for the Presidency of the United States in the 2012 election. In a joint news conference in Portland, long time activist and former Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader immediately threw his support behind Anderson. At a joint news conference Nader said, I am glad to see Rocky in this race and he has my total support. Anderson, the former two term Mayor of Salt Lake City, founder of the HIgh Road for Human Rights and co-founder of the Justice USA said he was gratied by Naders support. Ralph Nader has been a strong ghter for causes I believe in: Social Justice, Economic Justice, and Environmental Justice. While others have become complacent about the devastation to our rights and liberties in this country, Ralph has never backed down. I am honored to have his support. Following the news conference there was a rally for Anderson at Portland State University where he spoke to an enthusiastic group.
