    The Secretary General received a call from the Director General of Human Resources Development that the Confidential Report file has been cleared by the Department of Personnel and Training. The Secretary General's report states that as per reports from New Delhi, the C.R. proposals have been cleared by DOPT with cuts to all cadres and is on its way to the Committee of Secretaries with a Cabinet Note. The file will go through further review by the Committee of Secretaries and the Cabinet before final approval and implementation over the next five months.

    SECRETARY GENERAL REPORTS THAT CR FILE HAS BEEN CLEARED BY DOPT

    Secretary General Reports THAT HE HAS RECEIVED A CALL FROM DG-HRD TO THE EFFECT THAT THE CR FILE HAS BEEN CLEARED BY DOPT. Since SG is out of calling area, I spoke to our President Shri K.P.Manoj and he has also confirmed the same. SG's report is published below. As per the reports from New Delhi, the C.R. proposals have been cleared by the DOPT, of course with cuts in all cadres, and it is on the way to the Committee of Secretaries with Cabinet Note. Exact numbers of reduction are not yet known. Since the file has been cleared by DoPT, it will travel to Committee of Secretaries with Cabinet Note. From there it will go to Cabinet for it's approval and implementation. The entire process upto the stage of issuance of Gazette Notification and release of promotion orders will take about five months.
