    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Perimeter Frame Install Knauf Angle Section (wall angle) in accordance with the planned high and screw with a maximum spacing 600mm and 50 mm from the edge / tip Suspension (Hanger) Knauf Soffit Cleat screwed on the top floor or building structural elements according to the distance which is determined by the load limit (see table). Put Threaded Rod on Soffit Cleat. Knauf U-Bracket hanger can be used as an alternative to the distance between the ceiling and not on less than 125mm. UFC Upper Channel Determine the distance Knauf UFC Upper frame in accordance with the planned ceiling weight. Attach the frame with UFC UFC Knauf Bracket. UFC Lower Channel Install Knauf UFC Lower Frame in accordance with the distance determined by the thickness of the board that is used (see table), and then use Knauf Clip for UFC UFC Knauf bonds between the upper and lower frames. Insulation (if any) Immediately after the order has been installed and before installing the board, put insulation over the UFC frames. Make sure insulation is attached tightly and neatly. Board Installation All boards should be installed perpendicular and meetings on the framework and screwed with Knauf gypsum board screws at 230mm spacing in the middle. Reduce the space the screws on the edge of the board and become with distance abutmen 150mm.

    UNIVERSAL FURRING CHANNEL
    Knauf Ceiling System UFC or Universal Furring Channel, is an efficient and effective ceiling systems from Knauf. The UFC system uses the minimum component types so to provide some added value in the form of ease of installation, ease estimation, reducing waste material as well as optimal performance. UFC system components manufactured from mild steel with a standard galvanized coating refers to the design of ASTM A653 and ASTM C645 standard reference profile. For ease of identification in the field / project, Knauf UFC has a special feature in the form of embossed triangle that also can increase the rigidity (stiffness) components.

    Knauf Ceiling System - Universal Furring Channel


    Smoke Fire Barrier Required if the ceiling is required according to the Building Regulations regarding fire resistance, unless the ceiling is in compliance with the requirements of fire resistance. Acces Panel Can easily be installed by installing additional framework. Knauf U Bracket Usually used if the distance to the slab above the ceiling does not allow for the installation of Threaded Rod.

    Knauf UCF Clip Rugged design and easy to apply

    Using the clip (Clip UFC) is more solid and easy in application. The number of minimal components, reducing waste material and facilitate estimation. Embossing stamp the form to add strength and easy identification of products. Installation time is relatively short.

    Drop Ceiling Can be made using the components and the UFC Section Angle Frame.

    Knauf Gypsum Plasterboard 1 layer or more Knauf Gypsum Plasterboard screwed to the UFC Frame.

    Function Used as forming the framework of Knauf ceiling. Performance Metal suspended ceiling components refer to ASTM C645.

    Bulk Head Can be made using the components and the UFC Section Angle Frame.
