A THOUGHT FROM ROBERT S. The most joyful thing I know is the peace, the silence that one enjoys in the woods. By John Miller
attended the state wide picnic up in Waterford Ct. We were able to meet up with our dearest friends from OPTIONS Club of Branford. We also met up with our friends at the Bridges Social Club as well as Fellowship. The day was bright and sunny but hot and humid also. We as always enjoyed a great cookout , entertainment and a merry time. Overall we had a day that we soon will not forget. Then later in the month of September we went to the famous Big E fair. The day was rainy ,windy and a little chilly but I had a great time walking around looking at all the displays trying out all the food samples getting info on things. We met OPTIONS up at the fair and it was fun hanging out with them. Their staff was able to get tickets for us all which I think is really kind of them. Thanks OPTIONS for your kindness !

Recently Jacques started a French class for a small group of us at the club. We have been learning the basic greetings ,words and questions. So far its been really fun and I have been learning a lot. Ive even been practicing at home. Its good to learn new things whenever you can.

In Memory We have lost a true patron of our club. A lady who supported our lunch program and fundraisers no matter what we would cook, although she would eat it so late in the day because she was always so busy! You will be missed by everyone you helped and talked to on the phone! The club will miss you Connie Keefe ! You were the best of best! Thanks for all you did for us! Also we lost another member of our BHcare Family from long ago in Kathy Silva, she was the front desk manager for many years. Both ladies were incredible in their positions here and really cared about our members! You will be missed!
