All visitors now need to be buzzed into the building by a school staff member. The camera and door bell are located to the right of the main doors. All visitors will still be required to check in at the front office and show identification. This new system will allow all of the outside doors to be locked during the school day.

Our Middle School Odyssey of the Mind Team doing Pet Project took 4th place on Saturday at the OM State tournament. Unfortunately, they will not be advancing to the World competition in May, but the team did a super job and got a lot of great comments from the judges about outstanding teamwork, positive attitudes, persistence and creativity. Congratulations EMS OM team, we are very proud of you!
Dear Erie Middle School Community: Im very happy to announce our newly appointed Assistant Principal, Rachel Heidi. Rachel was one of 125 applicants competing for the position. After conducting several interviews over the break, it was clear that her expertise and professionalism were the right fit for our school. Rachel has worked within Littleton Public Schools for seven years. There she taught 7 th grade math. She eventually became an Assistant Principal within Greeley District 6. After two years she rose again to the position of Principal at Brentwood Middle School. She is extremely knowledgeable and strives to be the best. Were very excited to have her at Erie Middle School. I will be working with Rachel over the next few weeks to determine a date and time for her to meet the students, staff members and parents of our community. I want to thank the parents and staff of EMS, especially those serving on the interview committee. They represented the school outstandingly. If you have questions concerning the hiring of our new Assistant Principal, feel free to contact me directly. Thank you,
